Unnamed Grove
Fleda, FL
May 2008
Below are pictures of citrus seedlings planted with DIEHARD™
Transplant in Sept. 2007. When planted the stem was the size of a
pencil. The grower said that in 20+ years of planting citrus he has
never seen as much fruit on small trees. He further said using the
DIEHARD™
Transplant
would cut one, perhaps even two years, from his usual payback period
of 5 years. Citrus seedlings now cost nearly $20 at the nursery in
Florida. Grove managers are planting 450 seedlings per hectare.
Application rate was 50 grams per seedling.

Trees were planted in Oct. 2000. During the winter a hard
freeze killed over 50 percent of
untreated trees while nearly all of the treated trees grew and flushed
by mid March. Farm
manager, Mr. Curt McDowell says he will not plant again without
DIEHARD™ AG Transplant.

18 month old new block planted using GPS and soil moisture retention
measurements. Horta-Sorb LG used at the rate of 9 oz. per 25
sq. ft. ( 5 ft. x 5 ft.) area incorporated into the top 18 inches of
soil in high perk areas to hold additional water in the ground.
Differences were "so obvious a first grader could show you the ones
treated",
